General Information
Abstracts submitted after the stipulated deadline will not be considered.
Each presenting author may submit a maximum of one abstract per registration. The registration of participation is binding; the presenting author should be present on-site.
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the ISBM-12 Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the presenting author by e-mail until 17.03.2023 (for those submitted up to 07.02.2023).
The final decision on the presentation format of all selected abstracts (oral or poster) lies at the sole discretion of the Scientific Committee, based on the quality of the abstract.
If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register and pays until 01.05.2023, the abstract will be withdrawn from the final programme.
If the presenting author wants to withdraw an abstract, a notification must be sent to the ISBM-12 Secretariat by e-mail (contact@isbm12.com) as soon as possible, and no later than 01.05.2023.
Additional Information (Late Breaking Abstracts)
Abstracts will be accepted for poster presentations only.
The rule of one abstract per registration and per presenting author still applies. If you have already submitted an abstract to ISBM-12, you are not eligible to apply now. You may co-author other abstracts, but nonetheless, it is one abstract per presenting author and per registration.
Notification of acceptance will be sent to the presenting author by e-mail no later than 05.05.2023. Presenting author of an accepted abstract will have one week to register, or the abstract will be withdrawn from the final programme.
Submission Instructions
Authors must prepare their abstract using the ISBM-12 Abstract Template (no longer available). Other formats will be rejected.
Submission can then be carried out in a two-step process:
The presenting author must fill the form available (no longer available). An e-mail will be sent immediately with the number # assigned to the abstract’s submission process;
The presenting author must name the prepared file (.doc/.docx) with abstract number_presenting and author last name (e.g., 346_Simpson), and send it by e-mail to abstracts.isbm12@gmail.com.
After submission, the presenting author will receive a notification of receipt within 2-3 workdays. If confirmation is not received after this period, please check your spam folder first and then contact us (abstracts.isbm12@gmail.com).
Every communication must reference the assigned abstract number in the e-mail subject.
Abstract Guidelines
Authors must indicate their preference of presentation: oral or poster;
Authors will be asked to select the topic and sub-topic that best suits their submission from the lists provided in the abstract form;
Abstracts must be submitted in British English language only;
